Prior to deploying the Xerox® Versant® 180 Press, MultiColor Copy Center had been using Xerox production device Xerox 700i. The Solution
The Versant 180 has superior color consistency because of the spectrophotometer that calibrates color, 80 ppm print speed, excellent print resolution and quality, prints on stocks and specialty media from 52-350 gsm without any loss of clarity or quality, while the automated registration and image quality controls help create an almost error-free output and tolerances to within one millimeter. Prior to deploying the Versant 180, MultiColor Copy Center was on a higher click rate. With the new machine, they are on a lower click rate. The flexibility to work with different mediums, substrates and types of jobs on one machine has also improved margins and ability to complete orders at a faster pace has generated higher returns.
